Incredible body of work here! Had no idea she did the Turtles All teh Way Down book cover! One of my favorites!

Right? I didn't know she did the lettering for that jacket either until I saw it on her Instagram.

Both covers are terrible. Amateurish. Stock-art-ish. Was shocked when I saw the US one. Rooney deserves better.

I actually don’t have very strong opinions … which may be damning in itself. I usually love what June Park, Rodrigo Corral and the FSG team puts out!

Much of the other Park designs are solid. The Rooney cover literally looks phoned in.

The UK cover gives the impression of a difference genre.

The US cover is more revealing, more suited to Rooney's novel. The human shaped shadows are a strong visual, clever with the chess board background.

I’m partial to the cobalt blue of the UK edition, but I appreciate how June Park’s gives equal visual weight to each character.

That cover for Upstairs Delicatessen has tempted me to buy it every time I see it.

I listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed it! But fair warning: it is likely to greatly increase your TBR (and maybe your grocery bill)

This was a great feature! I would love to be introduced to more amazing designers. For what it’s worth, I prefer June’s version. Which is funny considering my opinion on US vs UK versions of cookbook covers. 😊

I appreciate this feature, it's neat to see which covers I've enjoyed are all by the same person!
