Side A has me asking questions and on the flip, dude with a joint punching himself in the face tells me most of what I need to know. Haha! Excellent result!
I love the B side cover! I’m also a B side, B roll kind of guy, so… I used to do sports photography way back in the early ’00s and my favorite stuff to do was what we called “life on the side.” Everyone wanted us to shoot the action on the field, but the stuff that sold much better was the life candids… the B Side 😀😀
There are a lot of concepts to get to one cover. I wish more authors would see how much hits the cutting room floor… it’s not waste, though; it’s process.
It is process! They don’t all take that many, but it happens more than one might think. It all informs the final product. I love that she got to incorporate the earlier idea onto the back.
